Description

This wonderful sample of robinsonite, analysed from the University of Pisa, coming from a 2015 finding which provided the best samples known for the species. T.P.Moore in his “Munich Show 2015 report” in “Mineralogical Record, vol.47, # 1-2016”, describes them thus: "... extremely rare specimens of sulfosalts rouxelite and robinsonite, the latter in what is probably its world's-best specimen found to date ... ".  this is the first time that are found samples of such high level and this, is one of the high quality, for the robinsonite has always spoken of millimetric crystals, here we speak of crystals measuring near to 2.0 cm. It is one of the best of this finding. From the aesthetic point of view there is no need to explain, the photos clearly describe the richness and brightness of singles crystals. It is really a wonderful and unique sample, it stands out even in a collectors showcase.
