Description

Silvery white crystal aggregates of the very rare mineral gallite, associated to pinkish renierite. Some crystal faces can be seen (photo 3) which is very rare in this mineral species !!.

Gallium minerals are extremely rare in Nature. From more than 5726 minerals known, only 9 are gallium minerals !! (source Mindat).

Gallite has only been found in 7 localities worldwide, this one being from the type locality.

Gallites in this quality and quantity are rarely seen in the mineral market.
