Description

Francisite is an extremely rare selenium mineral known from only two localities worldwide. It is a Cu-Bi selenite that occurs in this specimen as green crystal aggregates of curious shapes on grey matrix from the type locality.

The specimen is especially rich in the mineral.

Ex Vandenbroucke Museum collection from Waregem, Belgium.
