Description

Metallic sharp crystal of edenharterite, one of the rarest mineral species from Lengenbach, since up to 2008 only 106 samples had been found in the quarry and of course worldwide (data from book "Faszination Lengenbach, 2008", p.188); after 2008 only a few more specimes have been found, so it continues to be an extreme rarity from Lengenbach.

Edenharterite was discovered as a new species, together with still rarer stalderite and erniggliite, in the famous boulder which fell to the bottom of the quarry in 1985 that incentivated further research of the deposit.

Don't miss the opporunity to get this very sought after mineral from Lengenbach, of course type locality and the only locality known worldwide

Ex Vandenbroucke Museum collection from Waregem, Belgium.
