Together with the specimen you will receive its certificate with the niobocarbide analysis, SEM photo with marked point of analysis, EDX spectrum and description of the find. The reason of the coin as a support is that a conductive surface is needed in order to analyze the specimen by SEM/EDX. However this coin can be very easily removed if desired by the buyer. Presence of oxygen in the analysis is due to surrounding glue and plastic window of the detector.
