Deep green crystals of herbertsmithite, a very rare Cu-Zn oxichloride known from a few localities worldwide associated to pale blue gordaite.

Herbertsmithite gained attention in March 2007 when it was reported that it has very specific and unusual physical properties that make it to behave as a new type of matter.
