Great nugget 0.55 mm long of pure, analyticaly confirmed by microprobe native TITANIUM composed by its sceletal crystals (dendrites) from the First scoria cone, Northern Breakthrough, Great Fissure Eruption, Tolbachik volcano, Kamchatka peninsula Russian Federation.

Titanium is, without any doubt, one of the rarest native elements ever discovered, and a treasure for collectors of Group I Elements.

Together with the specimen you will receive its certificate with the titanium analysis, SEM photo with marked point of analysis, EDX spectrum and description of the find. The reason of the coin as a support is that a conductive surface is needed in order to analyze the specimen by SEM/EDX. However this coin can be very easily removed if desired by the buyer. Presence of oxygen in the analysis is due to surrounding glue and plastic window of the detector.  Analysis performed by Pavel Kartashov.
