Outstanding (and big for the species) nugget of the extremely rare iridium-iron mineral chengdeite from one of the very few localities known worldwide, the Tulameen river in Canada.

The nugget contains inclusions of another rarity, in this case laurite, ruthenium sulphide.

Both species has been analyzed, see copy of the analysis enclosed.

Chengdeite belongs to the first class of native I.Elements and Alloys.
