Description

Molybdofornacite is the only molybdate-chromate-arsenate-phosphate mineral known.

In addition is extremely rare in Tsumeb (its type locality) and labeled as RRR in Gebhard Tsumeb II book (single occurrence with less than 10 specimens).

It occurs as nice green prysmatic crystals associated to very minoritary dioptase and rosasite.
