Description

Outstanding gallite crystal aggregates (photos 1 and 5) and beige microcrystals of the extremely rare gallium mineral sohngeite (photos 2, 3, 4, 6) from the type locality in Tsumeb and only known locality worldwide for sohngeite

Gallium minerals are extremely rare in Nature since only 7 from more almost  5500 mineral species known are gallium minerals (source Mindat), so this specimen has 2 of 7 of all known gallium minerals !

Sohngeite was labeled as RRR (extremely rare, single occurrence with less than 10 specimens known)  in Gebhard Tsumeb book. and gallite as R (rare, several occurrences with a few specimens known)
