Description

Outstanding combination of three halide minerals from Broken Hill:

Sharp yellow tetrahedral miersite crystals, sharp green bromargyrite crystals and sharp tan chlorargyrite crystals, all of them in a contrasting matrix.

Miersite from Broken Hill is nowadays very rare in the mineral market.

Very interesting specimen for its chemistry since it has all three silver halides in a single specimen (AgCl, AgBr and AgI). By the way, AgF doesn't exist as a mineral species.

Ex-Mineral Zone specimen with label included.
