Black crystals of the extremely rare selenide mineral chameanite associated to the also very rare mineral athabascaite (a copper selenide) from the type locality for chameanite in Chamean, France. Associated mineral is golden chalcopyrite.

Chameanite has only been found in three localities worldwide.
