Description

Haradaite is an extremely rare Sr-V silicate mineral that occurs as very nice green crystals.

The mineral is found in only 3 localities worldwide, being this one from the type locality in Japan. From more than 5000 minerals known in Nature only 7 contain at the same time Strontium and Vanadium; haradaite is one of these seven, so it is a real rarity.
