Description

Dark green sharp crystals of the rare tellurium mineral parakhinite , now redefined as khinite-3T. This is specimen is part of the type specimen studied by Sid Williams (article below) as proved by the original label enclosed (see photos). Historical specimen !

Williams, S.A. (1978), Khinite, parakhinite, and dugganite, three new tellurates from Tombstone, AZ, American Mineralogist: 63: 1016-1019.

Also ex-F.Bauer collection. All labels will be sent to the buyer of the specimen.

Khinite-3T has been found in only 2 districts worldwide comprising 5 localities (from Mindat).
