Description

Beige crystal aggregates of the very rare mineral gagarinite-(Y) on a contrasting matrix of quartz. Gagarinite-(Y) is Na-Ca-Y fluoride known from a few localities worldwide and was named after Yuri Gagarin, the first man on space.

Collected in 1990 th and analyzed by L.Pautov, A.Apahanov, V.Karpenko.
