Description

Brunogeierite is one of great rarities of Tsumeb as every Tsumeb specialist knows. This sample is exceptional for the quality of the crystals, perfect cubes associated to schneiderhöhnite (fourth photo).
Brunogeierite was labeled as RRR (Extremely rare, single occurrence with less than 10 specimens) in the Gebhard 1999 book. Since the mine closed in 1996 it's very unlikely that new specimens be found in the future. Don't miss the opportunity in get such an extreme rarity from Tsumeb ! Photo #5 is from the supplier of the specimen and probably belongs to the back side of the sample close to the bluetack.
The specimen was in the collection of Clive Quiet in 1987 as proved by the label.
