Description

Tiny red wine crystals of smithite, a silver sulphosalt. Smithite is very rare at Lengenbach: the number of confirmed smithite specimens from Lengenbach was only 121 in 2008 ! (from the book Faszination Lengenbach, 2008). Associated minerals are realgar, pararealgar and orpiment. Find of 2009.
