Sinnerite is only found in two localities worldwide and Lengenbach is the type locality. Find of 2011 with the official code number of the FGL L-11-4751. FGL is the association that works the quarry to remove specimens for mineral collectors. The number of confirmed sinnerite specimens from Lengenbach was only 19 until 2002 and this number later grew to only 32 (!) in 2008, so it is a real rarity !!.
