Description

Corkite, a Pb-Fe phosphate-sulphate, is not a rare mineral worldwide; by the contrary it is an extremely rare mineral at Tsumeb. Gebhard book Tsumeb II labels this species as RRR (Extremely rare, single occurrence with less than 10 specimens known). Corkite occurs in this specimen as deep yellow microcristals associated to cerussite. Analyzed specimen (see copy)
