Description

Eirikite is a very rare relatively new mineral (IMA 2007-017, but published in 2010) that is present as white flat gemmy prismatic crystals in a brown matrix. Eirikite is found in only 3 localities worldwide and it is one of the most sought after species from Mont Saint-Hilaire.
Very nice under the microscope.
