Description

A beautiful matrix specimen showing a lustrous, orange-red crystal of sphalerite with dark brown crystal faces an epitaxial growth of chalcopyrite. The crystal has a small contact on one side.

Büschhof quarry is an interesting locality. Cu-, Fe-, Pb- and Zn-minerals are present inside a fossil devonian stromatopore reef.
