Description

Fantastic Buttgenbachite spray on a Cuprite matrix from the Likasi Mine in DRC. This extremely rare mineral is the NO3 analogue of Connellite. This piece features one perfect spray (3mm) and a few other spots with the same mineral. It is from a recent find at the mine, well analysed find.

Note: there is some debate about the locality of this new find, some say it is from Likas while others say it is from Tenke (50 km too the NW) but I am sceptical.
