Miniature (4.5-7 cm)
Size:
2.3 × 5.3 × 3.6 cm
Description

Spherical aggregates of acicular crystals of kornelite ae set over roemerite. The purple color in the center is due to the fact to the mix with coquimbite while outer parts of the groups are pure kornelite.

There some very good microcrystals of voltaite, small chalcanthite masses, plus aesthetic fans of halotrichite hanged over the kornelite groups. Scattered over the specimen are small yellow groups of copiapite adding contrast to this exceptional specimen from this closed locality.

Superb specimen!
