Description

Polished preparation of white-grey metallic ovamboite accompanied by germanite-tennantite, chalcocite and galena. Ovamboite is the unique Cu-rich sulphide beeing the only known mineral with both W and Ge in composition and W-analogue of Mo-rich maikainite. Tsumeb is the only locality for the species, TL. Very, very rare. Analyzed by Dr. M. Murashko. IMA No. 1992–039.
