Description

This is a specimen of a phantom fluorite crystal. It is colourless but has a golden core and a pale purple zoning. Attached is a small patch of sparkling matrix which consists of micro-cyrstals of calcite. The Fluorite core fluoresces a strong pale yellow under long-wave UV, and weakly phosphoresces. Some micro-sized chips on the edges and corners but nothing detracting.
