Bright silvery altaite ( EDS confirmed) with gold in grey quartz from the Hollinger Mine in Timmins, Ontario, Canada.

Altaite is rare in the Timmins camp and is seldom available. This sample came from a larger piece that was collected in 1935 by George S. Scott.
