Description

This is a sample of pearly white cleavages of spencerite in white massive botryoidal hemimorphite. The spencerite occurs as a layer in the hemimorphite.

This is from the type locality for spencerite. It was collected around 1915 and came from material deacquisitioned by the Royal Ontario Museum. 

Spenerite is a rare mineral with only three recorded localities to date.
