Description

The specimen consists of pararammelsbergite, safflorite, cobaltite, skutterudite, and small amounts of native bismuth and nickeline.

The pararammelsbergite occurs mainly as subhedral tabular crystals to 1mm, however there is a small vug with a sharp shiny 0.5mm terminated crystal (shown in the micro photo, sorry about the poor quality of the photo - we are saving for new photography equipment!) and one partially terminated crystal 1mm long. In other vugs are crystals of safflorite, cubes of cobaltite and broken pararammelsbergite crystals.

Terminated crystals of pararammelsbegite are extremely rare. One side of the sample has been sawn.
