Description

A showy "porcupine" composed of stibnite crystals on a thin plate of baryte crystals. From the seller's collection we offer this piece, acquired in the early 1980's from the Melansons of Hawthorneden.

We will pack the piece in laundry powder to ensure a safe transit to your collection!

The original label will be included with the specimen.  The name of the mine "IPEG" is an attribution to the I.P.E.G. company,  an exploration, mineral extraction and construction concern based in Baia Mare.  I.P.E.G. had dealings with several mines from 1960's through the '90s to present."  For additional discussion on the locality of this piece see http://www.mindat.org/mesg-11-171365.html
