Description

Sharp and shiny crystals of uraninite on a matrix of tremolite from a new find at the Millar Mine. Some of the corners of the crystals are very slightly modified by the octahedron. The largest and most prominent crystal is a 2.0 mm cube intergrown with a second crystal. The identity of the species has been confirmed by EDS and the report is available on Mindat http://www.mindat.org/photo-632056.html
