Description

This is a thumbnail specimen of bismuthinite crystals on and in calcite. The calcite is black due to thousands of bismuthinite crystals. Bismuthinite in this concentration is rarely found in the Cobalt mining camp.
The crystals are visible to the unaided eye, but are better viewed under the microscope.
