Description

Very good dark honey-brown calcite crystals on a fossil wood branch (bark), replaced by natrolite. The back of the specimen shows nice wood/bark structure.

The Sipi caves have a volcanic origin (pyroclastic stream?). Last described by Udluft (1929) and Holms (British Museum 1937).

Only minor dings around the edges.
