Description

In my optinion bournonite is a very attractive mineral, but showy specimens are rare. What you see here is the best quality of romanian bournonite! Most specimens show dull crystals with a corroded surface, not much attractive. This one is different: the crystals are in perfect condition and show a brilliant luster. The crystals are delveloped as cogwheels with a good contrast to the other minerals at the specimen, galena, chalcopyrite and quartz. A very fine specimen without damage that was found in 1998 and comes with an older label.
