Description

This specimen comes from a bulgarian collection and represents a rarety. Bulgaria is a country which is rich in minerals, but fluorite was found in two deposits only. 

This specimen comes from the Mihalkovo-deposit which was closed in 1994. Only a few good specimens were found during operation, new finds are unknown. This specimen shows typical green fluorite on matrix. The crystals are light green and crystallized as octahedrons. The surface is naturally etched. On some faces you can find a thin layer of quartz. So significant damages.
