Pyrite & Hematite

Classic Locality

Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Rio Marina, Elba, Livorno Province, Tuscany, Italy
Size Range:
Small cabinet (7-10 cm)
Size:
7 × 6 × 5 cm
Description

This specimen is an unusual kind of Elba-pyrite, at least for me. I've never seen a specimen with dozends of those high quality crystals on matrix. It's an older specimen (not from the lastest find) and shows best condition without damages. The crystals quality is excellent with high luster and a fine contrast to the dark hematite.
