Dolomite Psm Aragonite

Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Roswell, Pecos River Valley, Chaves County, New Mexico, United States of America
Size Range:
Small cabinet (7-10 cm)
Size:
8.5 × 7.5 × 3.5 cm
Description

Very rare material from a recent find in spring 2011. The specimen is developed as floater and undamaged. You still can see the habit of the aragonite, but it is completely converted to dolomite. Only one box of this stuff made it to Europe and some of them moved very quickly to the Freiberg-Museum. This is the only specimen I still have on sale.
