Readings for Radioactive Minerals are taken with a Radiacode 103 scintillator device to read the highest area of activity on a certain specimen, This can vary greatly with other instruments. Cheap geiger counters will read significantly less. UV minerals are pictures with a 365 nm UV light. Regular black lights may not cause the same reaction.
