Description

It's not often that you see these Hungarian classics out of the famous copper and iron mines of Rudabánya anymore! This specimen can boast with a perfect modified octahedral Cuprite crystal which is 1 cm long on the edge! There are more Cuprites on each side of the specimen - even the bottom is crystallized and has a cute perfect 5 mm octahedron (see the third picture bottom left part). The Cuprites are covered by a thin patina. This specimen is absolutely perfect - a true classic from a famous and unfortunately long defunct locality.
