Description

A highly glossy and transparent Aragonite "ribbon" formation with 22 mm length from a still operating basalt quarry in the Balaton highland area of Hungary. The two interpenetrating pseudohexagonal Aragonite crystals are accompanied by small Calcite rhombs on the satin black Saponite. It is a highly aesthetic specimen personally collected on 29/September/2019.
