Wulfenite Mimetite

Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Harrington-Hickory Mine, Topache Peak, Beaver County, Utah, United States of America
Class:
Crystals on Matrix
Size Range:
Small miniature (3-4.5 cm)
Size:
3.4 × 2.5 × 1.5 cm
Description

Here's a gorgeous oddball for my fellow Wulfenite collectors: three different type of crystals appear on this specimen. Firstly and most pronounced are the "Stop-sign" shaped, transparent crystals. Secondly there are squared crystals and most interestingly, as shown on the picture, there are Faden-type Wulfenite crystals! Add in the rare locale because it's not from Arizona but from Harrington-Hickory mine in Utah and you've got a great little story on a compact specimen.

Please take a look at the video for the best feeling of the specimen!
