Description

Rich large miniature featuring a number of garnet flat 'berries' of dark red color and with the classic crystal habitus for the area. The largest crystal aggregate is as big as 4 mm across.

The hessonite is dark red/brown, with very high lustre and sharpness, among the best for the area.

An excellent specimen, it comes from the Swiss collection Lehmann (1980s) and it comes with a pasted, handwritten label in German.
