Small miniature (3-4.5 cm)
Size:
3.7 × 3.1 × 2.1 cm
Weight:
43.00gr
Description

Mesmerizingly colorful specimen displaying banded, multicolor willemite, ranging from green-yellow to deep red, perhaps due to zincite inclusions.
Possibly also some calcite in between, although I did not check the fluorescence (which I expect to be very strong).
Very rich and colorful, quite representative for the high quality willemite.

The label (in German) testifies that this is a rather old specimen, most likely between the two World Wars. It is found as part of the former collection Burger (CH), which dates back to pre-1950s.
