Description

Rich miniature of ruby jack sphalerite from this classic Saxonian locale. Sphalerite is very lustrous (also quite hard to photograph) and it is associated to colorless fluorite cubes, which are often perimorphed by a thin crust of either microcristalline quartz or pyrite.
A rich specimen, dated back to several decades ago. Pretty and hard to find nowadays, I am told.
