Description

Sculptural individual of pyrite from this very intriguing locality. The main crystal is a combination between cube, octahedron and rhombododecahedron, and on the main display face there is a mosaic made of over a dozen of almost randomly oriented smaller crystals.
Fresh and very lustrous, this is a great specimen to photograph.
I have acquired this specimen at Tucson 2013 and it has remained in my collection ever since.
One of my oddest pyrites, this is a specimen the lucky buyer will truly enjoy! From my very Crystallography suite.
