Description

Rich miniature with a drusy hosting tens of apple green fans of annabergite on top of canary yellow gaspeite crystals. Annabergite is very lustrous and mostly textbook, and it lays on top of gaspeite scalenohedrons, which appear as partial replacement (pseudomorphed/epimorphed) of gaspeite after calcite - very typical for the locality.
Annabergite show its classic fan shaped habitus, with good color and transparency at the tips. Some smaller annabergite crystals appear as spheroids of paler color.

Pretty good quality from the area. An oldtimer, as it comes from the Kasper collection (CH), which dates back to the 70s. Also, from my personal collection. One of my top annabergites too!
