Description

Intriguing group of three divergent aegirine crystals attached at a common point. All terminations are complete: two show faces, while the third is rather brush-like, as it possibly was undergoing a transformation into arfvedsonite. On this very crystal, also a 'St Andrew's cross' group of small and perfect aegirines.
Crystals are mirror lustrous and locally some dark green taints point towards arfvedsonite. At the very bottom of the specimen, a couple of tiny specks of white feldspar appear, providing a striking color contrast too.
Excellent lustre and color, this is a 3-dimensional specimen to truly admire on a plinth and in rotation.

With negligible to no peripheral bruising, this specimen represents excellent display material.
