Description

Very rich aggregate of platy crystals of creamy epididymite with great lustre. This is a rare specie and in great conditions, even if matrix free.

This specimen was collected during one of the first Italian field campaigns in Malawi dedicated to the collection of specimens, in the early 2000s. Unquestionably, epididymite is by far among the rarest species found there.

The specimen comes with its original plastic box, on a small ball of grey tack (easy to remove) and it proudly resides in my collection since 2002.
