Description

Rich thumbnail featuring at least two dozens deep blue benitoite crystals on exposed grey crossite. Crystals are mostly triangular with some pseudohexagonal contour, very brilliant, mostly arranged as a chained cluster. They are all very lustrous and partially transparent.
In my opinion, the most important crystal of this thumbnail is a lovely combo of 2 pseudohexagonal crystals, sheltered in an fissure and hence free of damage. Pale blue color for them, with a pretty good lustre and part transparency.
The most exposed crystals are often not complete, while the protected ones are photo worthy subjects.

A rich and good specimen from this classic - now defunct - locality,

The weight includes the Perky box the specimen is mounted in.
