Beautiful boxed thumbnail single diopside crystal decorated with small red hessonite garnets. Diopside has a light green color, with good transparency and quite good lustre. Grossular crystals, at least half a dozen, are millimeter sized and very lustrous. On the tip, a small polychrome vesuvianite (not terminated).

Very aesthetic and sizeable from this legendary area for Italian rodingites.

From a fortuitous purchase at the Denver show 2018, it features a handwritten label dated 1985. Weight includes the original Perky box it has been mounted in.
