A set of three individual crystals of twinned cerussite crystals from the renowned Ennio Contarini collection (1891-1973). Crystals reach up to 1.5 cm in size, display good lustre and transparency, and well-displayed growth features. Minimal brusing overall, despite their storage in the corked glass flask.

The specimens have resided also in the Ciampi, Serralunga and Palumbo collections, all of them quite renowned as well. This remarkable pedigree is confirmed also by the collectors' labels.

A pretty serious piece of Sardinian history.
